Meet Our Skilled Pediatric Therapists

Katrina Wiles, MS, OTR/L

Katrina has been an occupational therapist for over 16 years with all those years being dedicated to helping children and their families. Even as a young child, Katrina had a special ability to interact with children making them feel comfortable. She always knew she wanted to work with children but wasn’t sure in what capacity. While being a classroom aide in a special education preschool, Katrina experienced occupational therapy for the first time with many of the students. She thought it was fascinating how it looked like the occupational therapist and the students were just “playing” but they were actually working towards a specific goal. At that moment, Katrina knew she had found her calling.

Being a mom herself, Katrina knows the joys and struggles of raising children and wanting the best for them. It is very important to her to not only connect with the children she works with but to also establish a deep connection with the parents and guardians who are involved in these children’s lives. Many times the focus is on the children and their busy schedules but Katrina values the relationship with the adults as well.
